533 :: Peter Hammill (Van der Graaf Generator) - Stage used Hiwatt Custom 50 guitar amplifier head, made in England, circa 1971, ser. no. 1708, bearing a 'VDGG' stencil to the side *Peter states 'This was my Van der Graaf Generator amp for clavinet and later, guitar. We picked this up (and another one for Jackson) from the Hiwatt garage off the Kingston bypass, circa 1971. It was last used as a keyboard amp while rehearsing for the Van der Graaf Generator Festival Hall Show in 2005'.
