Keith purchased the bass from a music store in Hounslow, London, UK. Keith was told by the store owner, that the guitar had previously belonged to John Entwistle of The Who. Being a fan of the band, Keith jumped at the opportunity to add this guitar to his collection. Following ownership, when Keith took the bass apart, he found a note concealed inside inscribed "SN 376250 - If found please return to John Entwistle c/o "The Who" - a reward will be offered.
