General features of this model include the ink stamped serial number, deep red mahogany back, two Patent number stamped Gibson Tim Shaw era humbucking pickups, HCSB (heritage cherry sunburst) and 'Made in USA' stamps in the neck pickup cavity. Changes to this model include a recent pro refret with Gibson historic style wire, tuners changed to old nickel Grovers, two pots changed to CTS 1991 (originals fifteenth week of 1986 CTS) and the Custom Art Historic case which was supplied in error by a previous owner (originals are usually generic brown).
