Fender Precision bass guitar, made in USA, circa 1968; Body: Fiesta red refinish, large knock through paint and wood chips to treble edge of horn, buckle wear to back, further rubbing and marks; Neck: maple, wear to back, '5MAR68B' date stamp to neck end; Fretboard: rosewood; Frets: worn and oxidised; Electrics: working, replacement 1982 dated potentiometers; Hardware: generally good, later replacement Fender pickguard (another damaged pickguard included in the sale), missing original serial number neck plate, missing bridge and pickup covers; Case: wooden hard case; Weight: 3.93kg; Overall condition: good for age *Owned by the vendor in a private sale in the late 1980s and sold to him as a 1968 Fender Precision Bass
