Martin Limited Edition HD-40MS Marty Stuart Signature acoustic guitar, made in USA, ser. no. 594691; Back and sides: Indian rosewood, a few minor marks; Top: natural spruce, one visible ding, autographed 'To Doctor Steve - Thanks!, Marty Stuart'; Neck: mahogany; Fretboard: ebony with Marty Stuart customised inlay; Frets: good; Hardware: good; Case: original hard case; Weight: 1.98kg; Overall condition: good *Number 230 of a limited edition run of 250 guitars released worldwide, this example is signed by Marty Stuart and C.F. Martin to the label as well as being additionally signed by Marty Stuart with a tribute to 'Doctor Steve' to the top. Also included is a 'The Martin Story' Brief History book, also signed with the same tribute to the front page, as well as again by C.F. Martin IV Ex lot 35, Bonhams & Brooks, 8th May 2001
