Of the two Jimi Hendrix images, Purple and Gold was subsequently adopted by Alan Douglas to front his 1992 Ultimate Experience compilation boxset and associated campaign materials. Assorted tests, variants and samples from both Stones and Hendrix editions are included in this sale.?
