1959 Burns Weill RP1G (Roy Plummer Guitar) Super Streamline electric guitar, made in England; Body: black finish mahogany with white Perspex back, a few dings and scuffs to be expected for age; Neck: mahogany, minor finish blemishes; Fretboard: sycamore; Frets: good; Electrics: working; Hardware: good; Case: contemporary compressed foam case; Weight: 3.62kg; Overall condition: good *An extremely original example and one of only a handful of the first production badge Burns guitars. Design and woodwork by Jim Burns. Electronics and hardware supplied by Henry Weill in early 1959. The guitar features a mahogany body and neck, sycamore fingerboard with rare Perspex back and moulded pickguard resplendent with its 'Cloud Deco' headstock. A rare very early British solid body guitar in good solid condition
