Knowing his penchant for memorabilia, he sent Keith some shavings. Keith donated some to 'The Boat Project', where they made a sailing boat of a thousand donated pieces of wood. The Hendrix shavings are located in a capsule in the tiller. It featured in many newspapers and on various television news reports. The lot comes with copies of magazine articles and a reference DVD showing it on various news reports
