*Trevor Wilkinson was a guitar maker from Sussex, England, who produced a few hand made instruments a year from his small workshop. Trevor made a wide range of acoustic and occasionally electric instruments. He had a special interest in less usual instruments, including Tiples and Cuatros. This guitar was inspired by the Drone string guitar built by Gibson and played by John McLaughlin in the 1970s, with his band Shakti. Although inspired by the Gibson instrument, it is far from a copy
