1963 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, made in USA, serial no. 9xxx9; Finish: original three tone sunburst, generally good for age, some rubbing and blemishes as to be expected; fretboard: rosewood; frets: original with some wear; electrics: working, black bottom pickups cloth wired to original three-way switch and pots all dating to the 6th week of 1963, non-original plastic wire loom attached to switch although out of circuit – added by the seller so he could experiment with different pickup configurations that the three-way switch does not allow (this does not affect the original electrics in any way) ; hardware: typical aging to metal parts, all appear original including tremolo arm; case: gig bag; other: neck date stamp JAN 63, pencil date 63 to spring cavity; overall condition: good
