Steve Howe – C.F. Martin & Co. solid body prototype electric guitar from The Steve Howe Collection, made in USA, ser. no. 00011, within original hard case (electrics working although require attention to reconfigure to manufacturer stock)

*Steve Howe swapped his Martin prototype guitar for a 1964 Rickenbacker model 1993 twelve string electric guitar in a direct trade. The guitar is accompanied with various letters of provenance between Steve Howe and the vendor throughout late 2016. This documentation includes:

– A letter from and signed by Steve Howe stating that this Martin prototype guitar ser. no. 00011 was part of his collection for approximately twenty years
– A letter to the vendor from Mr Howe requesting his contact details
– Various letters between the vendor and Mr Howe confirming that this guitar is one of the fifteen prototypes made by Martin that were sent to the world’s top guitarists for review
– A letter confirming the guitar as the one directly swapped for the twelve string Rickenbacker that features in Steve Howe’s guitar collection book
– A hardback copy of The Steve Howe Collection, where the vendor’s old guitar features on pages 84-85. Mr Howe has personally written on the page ‘Do You Recognise This Guitar??’
