19th century French small bodied guitar by and labelled Pierre Pacherel, Nice, 1857; Back and sides: birds eye maple with hairline cracks and restoration binding on the ribs to the lower button area, over-varnished; Table: fine grain spruce, restored crack running from the sound hole through the bridge to the end, over-varnished; Fretboard: ebony; Frets: good; Other: neck requires straightening and resetting, later brass reinforcement screws to the bridge; Case: shaped semi-hard case; Overall condition: poor/in need of restoration
