Provenance: the vendor purchased this guitar from an advert in Weston Super Mare Ad Mag 12th February 1987 from Burnham on Sea. When originally acquired, the guitar had been refinished in ‘Fender Pink’, replacement bridge assembly fitted, one tuning key ferrule missing, no finger rest, missing strap button to the head and the pickup retaining screws were missing. The guitar was taken to Dick Knight in April 1987 where it was refinished in three-tone sunburst and all the hardware replaced where missing. In 2004, the guitar was taken to Malcolm Miles Guitar Services in Motspur Park, Surrey, where the original pickups and pots were replaced with a set of original 1960s pickups and pots as the original pickup was faulty. The originals to this guitar have been retained.
