531 :: Peter Hammill (Van der Graaf Generator) - Stage and studio used Yamaha FG300 acoustic guitar, made in Japan, circa 1969, ser. no. 1087204, with gig bag (replacement tuners and bridge pins) *An acoustic guitar used on all early Van de Graaf Generator recordings. Peter states 'This was my guitar in the early days of Van der Graaf Generator and I used it on 'Fool's Mate', 'The Least We Can Do', 'H to He' and 'Pawn Hearts' and of course I played it, sitting down, at Van der Graaf Generator gigs right up until 1972. It's also heard on 'Chameleon', 'Silent Corner', 'In Camera' and 'Nadir'. I finally replaced it with my Morris in 1978. A true workhorse and over the last few years I've used it as a high strung guitar'
