John Entwistle (The Who) - Sunn Coliseum Bass guitar amplifier head, made in USA, ser. no. AI131804; together with a Sunn Model 412L speaker cabinet, ser. no. A40647, housed within a heavy duty flight case on wheels bearing stencils 'The Who', '412', 'Stage Right', also bearing a taped tuning sheet; also a 1x15" speaker cabinet bearing a plaque inscribed 'Manufactured by Mega for John Entwistle', housed within a heavy duty flight case on wheels bearing stencils 'The Who', 'JAE', 'Stage Right', '118'. * John Entwistle used Sunn amps extensively from 1971 onwards with The Who and Ox. Various images show John Entwistle and The Who using Sunn rigs, including Live Aid in 1985, where a selection of 412L cabinets can be seen behind the band. When The Who disposed of some equipment in the late 1980s, this bass rig with flight cases were acquired by the Irish rock band Cactus World News, who formed in 1984.
