508 :: Jimi Hendrix - collection of nine candid photographs of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, held within a psychedelic pattern folio, taken by Lena King in Gothenberg, Sweden on 4th January 1968, just before the show at Lorensberg *Previously sold at the Sotheby's Rock and Roll sale on 18th September 1996 and accompanied by a letter from Lena King assigning the Copyright of the images to the eventual purchaser. The back of the folio states that after the show, Jimi smashed up the hotel room, was handcuffed and escorted by two policemen, wearing a white fur coat as seen in one of the photos, spending the night in jail and being released the next day
