Gibson Les Paul (SG) Standard electric guitar, made in USA, circa 1964; Body: cherry refinish, dings and marks throughout, original vibrola holes filled, small rout beneath pickguard for earth wire channel, filled holes beneath Tune-o-Matic bridge allowing for reposition of later installed Tune-o-Matic; Neck: refinished, various dings, 'Jay Dee' luthier plaque concealing the serial number; Fretboard: rosewood, minor wear and a few small repair patches; Frets: minor wear; Electrics: working, original Patent number pickup to neck position, later replacement Gibson bridge pickup, replacement potentiometers; Hardware: later pickguard, Japanese Tune-o-Matic bridge, later wraparound stop bar replacing original vibrola; Case: TGI gig bag; Weight: 2.91kg; Overall condition: fair *Single owner from new. A digital copy photograph shows the original owner holding this and another guitar that predates 1966. Restored by Jay Dee Guitars, Birmingham and bearing his plaque to the back which is concealing the serial number *Sold with CITES non transferable A10 certificate no. 631900/01
