Selmer Maccaferri D hole gypsy jazz acoustic guitar, made in France, circa 1932, the original resonator branded 'Fabrique en France par H. Selmer & Cie, sous la Direction Technique de Mario Maccaferri', also branded to the head with Maccaferri Patent number and Henry Selmer logo; Back and sides: Indian rosewood, light checking, minor finish loss, minor dings and other scratching but generally very good for age; Top: natural spruce, repaired hairlines to upper bout with lacquer refinishing, light play wear and various minor dings; Neck: refinished and with visible imperfections behind the first position frets due to truss bar oxidisation; Fretboard: ebony; Frets: good; Hardware: one replacement tuner button, replacement bridge, replacement tailpiece; Overall condition: good *Purchased by the vendor in 1988 from a UK dealer. A good playing example that has been lovingly maintained since ownership
