1988 Fender Custom Shop Mike Stevens/John Page '57 Mary Kaye Stratocaster electric guitar, made in USA; Body: see-through blonde finish, ding to back contour, lacquer checking to back; Neck: flamed maple; Fretboard: maple; Frets: good; Electrics: working; Hardware: good; Case: Fender hard case and accessories; Weight: 3.32kg; Overall condition: good for age *One of the earliest Fender Custom Shop guitars, this Strat was ordered in June 1987, allocated work order number 0018 and shipped in March 1988. The neck is by Michael Stevens and Richard Syarto, and the body by John Page. Michael Stevens and John Page were the two originators of the Fender Custom Shop in 1987. This is the first guitar to be built by the Custom Shop directly for the retail market. The first batch of Custom Shop guitars prior to this one were built for Artists and Fender Management
