Billy Bragg - 1930s Dobro resonator guitar, possibly a Model 32, circa 1935; Body: nickel plated steel, finish loss and marks throughout; Neck: refinish, a few dings; Fretboard: rosewood; Frets: good, refret; Hardware: good, upgraded tuners; Case: Hiscox hard case bearing various Billy Bragg tour passes; Weight: 3.42kg; Overall condition: good for age *Formerly owned by Billy Bragg and used during Billy's 2017 'Bridges Not Walls' UK solo tour. The case bearing many AAA stickers from this tour Restored to good playing condition in 2016 by Mike Lewis of Fine Resophonics. Mike refinished the neck, replaced the tuners and carried out a thorough set up including seating the single cone and spider bridge properly. Mike commented 'It's a nice guitar, and fiddle edge Dobros are really quite rare'. The guitar would have originally had a dull gold stucco finish but at some point in time its steel body has been nickel plated
