1981 Jim Burns Marvin electric guitar, made in England, ser. no. 81xxx4; Body: green burst re-finish, light surface marks; Neck: maple; Fretboard: maple; Frets: mild wear; Electrics: working; Hardware: good, switch tip replaced; Case: generic oblong hard case; Weight: 4.16kg; Overall condition: good *The Jim Burns Marvin was an updated variation of the 60s original and debuted in 1980. This is an early example, with the Hank Marvin signature decal on the headstock, a feature that subsequently had to be abandoned at the insistence of Hanks management.
