The guitar was used to write seven Beautiful South albums including three number ones and used to write or record hit singles 'Prettiest Eyes', 'Don't Marry Her' and 'Rotterdam (Or Anywhere)'. The guitar bears some of David's original chord pace notes to the bass side The top of the guitar is hand signed by Slash of Guns n' Roses from when the pair met on the set of Jools Holland's 9th Annual Hootenanny in 2001.
