Guitar by Juan Pages, Cadiz 1791, with six double courses, the tapered head with rosewood face and shaped outline bearing twelve tuning pegs mounted with pearl eyes, the fingerboard with eleven brass frets plus another five running onto the table, the two-piece figured maple back with ebony binding to the edges and similar wood to the sides, the fine grain spruce table with ebonised and pearl inlaid decoration, the sound hole rosette made up of inlaid boxwood and ebony lines enclosing a continuous band of pearl inlaid circles, the rosewood wraparound bridge flanked by shallow fretwork scrolls, within an ebonised wooden case
