Provenance: the vendor acquired this guitar from the youth leader at Clifton Church in Bristol in March 1993. It was used as the bass for all the musical activities at the Church club. At the time, it was missing the chrome tailpiece, chrome bridge cover and ebonite finger rest. These have all been replaced with original early Fender hardware sourced from Kevin Rhys Jones. The guitar was taken to Gordon Wells of Knight Guitars in 2007 where it was refinished in three-tone sunburst.
